HERBERT KUNSTADT founded the firm in
1975. He has a MSME degree in Mechanical Engineering from the
Technical University of Bucharest (1954), and has done postgraduate
work at the University of California and the Technical University of
Vienna. He is a registered Professional Engineer in New York, New
Jersey, California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Florida, Texas,
Maine, Indiana, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania. He has extensive
professional affiliations, such as being past President of the
Association of Energy Engineers and Chairman of the Consultants
Council for Energy Conversation, and for several years taught the
course on Mechanical and Electrical Engineering at the Pratt
Institute, School of Architecture, Brooklyn, N.Y.
Herbert Kunstadt has overall responsibility for every project in the
following pages, and detailed involvement where creative engineering
solutions to difficult problems were required.
